Dal 19 al 21 settembre 2025, il borgo umbro ospita Enologica Montefalco – Abbinamenti, un evento che non è solo una festa del vino ma un vero itinerario esperienziale: tre giorni per assaporare vini e piatti del territorio, ma anche per lasciarsi incantare dall’arte, dalla musica e dai paesaggi che circondano la “ringhiera dell’Umbria”.

Le sue stradine medievali conducono a piazze raccolte, chiese che custodiscono affreschi rinascimentali e botteghe che raccontano la tradizione artigiana. Non mancano abbinamenti creativi come la pizza gourmet con vini locali o il maritozzo dolce sposato al Sagrantino Passito.

From September 19 to 21, 2025, the Umbrian village hosts Enologica Montefalco – Pairings, an event that is not just a wine festival but a true experiential itinerary: three days to savor the wines and dishes of the territory, while also being enchanted by art, music, and the landscapes surrounding the “balcony of Umbria.”

Perched on a hilltop, Montefalco offers sweeping views that stretch as far as Perugia and Spoleto. Its medieval streets lead to intimate squares, churches adorned with Renaissance frescoes, and artisan shops that preserve centuries-old traditions. This is the birthplace of Sagrantino, a red wine of rare intensity, an identity marker of the territory and an ambassador of this small community of winemakers to the world.
Three days of widespread experiences
For the occasion, the town turns into an open-air stage. The Cloister of Sant’Agostino becomes the vibrant hub of tastings, while wineries, restaurants, piazzas, and museums host workshops, cooking shows, and guided sessions led by sommeliers and experts.
